its been a rather bad week so far.

i missed 2 lectures.

why?

i have foreign invaders in my body..
my immune cells are working and produce interleukins 1 and 6
this elevates prostaglandin biosynthesis in the hypothalamus
this increases my hypotalamic set point (normal is 37 degrees celsius)
my body inhibits heat loss
i'm vasoconstricted and shivering
and if all goes well(hopefully soon), after the immune system stops working, my thalamic set point will be back to normal
my body will then activiate heat loss mechanisms
leading to vasodilation and sweating

so in essence..

i have a fever =)

other symptoms:
ulcers
loss of appetite
light headedness
chest discomfort
muscle aches

i have 4 days off sch. and i cant study =(
my temp increases after that. lol.
i hope i recover soon. cant skip any more lects.

I HATE EMBRYOLOGY!!!!
